Aloha Oukou!
Here are a few of my favorite pictures that depict the beauty that I’m lucky enough to be exposed to every day here on Maui!

Maui is truly an enchanting island.  It’s so diverse, you can be in a rainforest and drive 5 or 10 miles down the road and be in a desert-scape.  I love gardening here, as I tend towards the ecclectic in my tastes and my garden is no exception.  I have succulents and cactus growing next to gardenias and tropicals, daisies, fruit trees and more!  And I utilize “edible landscaping” so it’s always changing!

 

I am a single mom of a wonderful 21 year old son, who is currently apprenticing to be a tattoo artist.  My “ugly son” is my beloved boxer, Bosco, who fills my life with laughs and warm fuzzies! My family is spread out from here to the East Coast, but we keep each other close to our hearts and thanks to the internet, we can keep daily conversation and updates going.

I have a vested interest in keeping my friends and family healthy and doing things for the environment, so I try to get the word out on topics that I feel will beneficial to all. With the consistently sunny climate here, I’ve learned a little about gardening, a lot about protecting your skin from the sun, many ways that we can preserve our environment for our children and our children’s children and I keep my eyes open for new ways to do that every day.  When I find items of interest I want to share them with everyone!  How wonderful the web is to help facilitate that!

 I intend for this website to entertain and enlighten and I hope that you enjoy it and learn some things that you can use to enrich yours and your friends’ and family’s lives.

    My name is Connie McAboy and many refer to me as Aunty Connie. I live Upcountry on the island of Maui and LOVE IT!
